Wall That Heals Update

The Black Swamp VFW Riders and other groups including Police and Fire will escort The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and The Wall That Heals into Gibsonburg and Sandusky County on Tuesday, August 29th. The agenda and route for the escort is:

11:30am- Meet at the Target Parking Lot on US 20 in Rossford

12:45pm- Safety Briefing by the VVMF and Ride Captain

1:00pm- Kickstands Up

1:45pm- Estimated Arrival in Williams Park

Route: US 20 East from Target Parking Lot. Right onto Anderson Road. Left onto SR 600 and into Gibsonburg. Left at light onto SR 300. Right onto E. Stone Street and into Williams Park.

The Wall That Heals will be set up by volunteers and students and staff from Vanguard Sentinel Career and Technology Center beginning at 8:30am on Wednesday, August 30th and will open to the public at 12:00am on Thursday, August 31st. It will remain open and free of charge to visit until 1:30pm on Sunday, September 3rd when a Closing Ceremony will take place.
