Frontier Construction

As discussed at the January 8, 2025 Council Meeting, Frontier Communications has submitted proper Right Of Way Permits and Plans for the implementation of fiber optic cable within the corporation limits of the Village of Gibsonburg.
Plans have been reviewed by staff, questions were addressed during an in person meeting with Frontier last week and the Right Of Way Work Permits have been signed.
Please be advised that the project will begin in the coming weeks and it is expected to last 3 months or less (weather dependent).
*With the exception of two areas: near the High School and on Linden Avenue and the implementation of the hub boxes, the majority of the project will be an aerial build that will go from utility pole to utility pole*
Once the project begins, Frontier will place door hangers at the residences in the areas where they will be working and a contact list for concerns/issues will be published
